{"id":12655,"date":"2025-02-12T09:39:27","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T01:39:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mandcountryclub.com.au\/cms\/?page_id=12655"},"modified":"2025-02-12T10:23:40","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T02:23:40","slug":"code-of-conduct","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mandcountryclub.com.au\/cms\/membership\/code-of-conduct\/","title":{"rendered":"Code of Conduct"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Code of Conduct (Code) has been developed to help ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for members, their families, visitors and employees.\u00a0 Our club should be a safe, friendly and respectful place free from any form of discrimination, for members, employees, visitors and guests to gather in the spirit of cooperation, relaxation, goodwill, fun and friendly competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All members, employees, visitors and guests whilst at the Mandurah Country Club, or representing the Club, are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values of a golf club, namely: honesty, integrity and camaraderie and sportsmanship and are therefore expected to conduct themselves in a manner that:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complies with the rules of the Club, relevant legislation and contractual obligations, and acts in the best interests of the Club and members.<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with, and comply with Club policies, procedures and by-laws.<\/li>\n<li>Is free of discrimination, bullying or any form of harassment.<\/li>\n<li>Shows fairness, respect and dignity to fellow members, employees, guests and visitors.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts responsibility for the behaviour of any visitors or guests that they bring or introduce to the Club.<\/li>\n<li>Does not denigrate or direct abuse at employees, members, guests or visitors and does not create conflict and divisiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Does not damage the character, reputation, integrity, goodwill, property and community view, (local or broader community) of the Club.\u00a0 All references posted on social media will be treated as public comment.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain from behaviour which may bring the good name of the Club into disrepute.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to dress standards as detailed in the Club Fixture Book and website.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follows the guidelines set for the care of the course as detailed in the Club Fixture Book and website, including but not limited to Conditions of Play.<\/li>\n<li>Treats Club property with respect.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts that Club Management has the sole responsibility for instructing employees, both on the course and in the clubhouse.<\/li>\n<li>Is responsible when consuming alcohol and accepts, without complaint, any employee or licensee decision to discontinue the service of alcohol.<\/li>\n<li>Any disputes with other members or the Club will be handled in accordance with the Club Constitution and By-Laws.\u00a0 The Board may take action, as prescribed in the Club Constitution and By-Laws, for breaches of this Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Code of Conduct (Code) has been developed to help ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"parent":273,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-12655","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
