General Information
The Management and Match Committees reserve the right to alter or delete these rules at any time. Should changes occur during the year notices detailing such changes will be updated on Club By-Laws and website.
Dress Requirements
In order to avoid embarrassment to themselves or their guests all members, caddies and visitors are urged to follow the Club’s policies with the understanding no dress code can completely cover every situation.
We are a member based Golf Club that welcomes guests from the community for golf and clubhouse functions. All patrons should respect the traditions of a golf club however our club appreciates the evolution of fashion trends within the community so please dress in good taste at all times to uphold the standards of the club.
For specific questions or concerns please refer to management staff. Management staff have final authority to interpret and enforce these rules.
On Course and Practice Areas – Men and Women
Players and Caddies – Neat comfortable sporting attire worn for the purpose of playing golf.
Not Acceptable
Metal Spike Golf Shoes, Blue denim (Jeans or shorts), bike pants, board shorts, gym wear, singlets, sun tops, t-shirts, Track Suit (pants-tops), sports jerseys, loud or offensive logo tops, work shorts, rubber thongs, sandals, any other non-regulation footwear likely to damage the greens
Junior
Dress requirements as for Men and Women.
In The Clubhouse – All Patrons
Neat Casual Dress is always required in the club.
The Clubs expectations of neat casual dress are:
- Work clothes that are not torn or dirty
- Non-collared shirts are acceptable as long as they do not show bold offensive logo’s or ripped of an untidy nature.
- Dress sandals are seen as acceptable (rubber thongs are preferred not worn)
- Golf Shoes are allowed throughout the clubhouse.
- Jeans that are of a neat attire.
- Hats of any style are preferred not to be worn.
Not Acceptable
- Singlets, Sleeveless sports tops or Jerseys, Tank tops, Track Suit (pants-tops), Gym wear, beachwear.
There will be times where the club will require a higher standard of dress or relaxed conditions based on specific function criteria, this will be advised to members prior to these events.
Short Visits to the Club
When visiting the club for a short period of time (5-10 minutes), to attend the Office or Golf Shop; it is permissible for members to be dressed in what could reasonably be deemed “street attire” in accordance with contemporary community standards.
The use of club facilities, including the course will be denied to any person spoken to regarding unacceptable dress standard or appearance until such time as they are attired in accordance with club standards.
It would be appreciated if all members and staff would assist in keeping up the standards of our club.
